FAQ

Where can I use your Cladding?

Although most commonly used in bathrooms and kitchens, pvc cladding can be used in any room of your home.

How many panels would I need?

To calculate the amount of panels required, you need to measure the width of the area you need to cover and divide by the width of the panels you are using. For example if the width of the area is 2m and you are using a standard width panel of 250mm then 8 panels are required.

How do I fix the panels to the Walls/Ceiling?

The panels can be fixed to a porous surface using a solvent free adhesive. For Example, A Solvent free Pink Grip. To fix panels over tiles, a silicone can be used. Panels can also be stapled or screwed to a wooden frame.

Can the panels be fitted over tiles?

The panels can be fixed over tiles using silicone.

Are these panels water tight when joined?

The panels are ideal for use in wet areas, however we do recommend using a thin bead of silicone between each panel and trim to ensure a water tight seal. We also advise that a cladseal strip is used around a bath or shower.

How much adhesive would I need?

One tube of adhesive will fix two panels.

How do I cut the panels down to size?

The panels can easily be cut to size using a fine toothed hand saw.

Can I use these panels in my kitchen?

The panels are ideal for use in a kitchen, however if being used directly behind a hob we would advise that a heat resistant splash back is used.

Can I fit spotlights into these panels?

Spotlights can be fitted into the panels. Any lights used must be fitted using low voltage transformers, low wattage bulbs or LED's.

Are these panels easy to clean and how do I clean them?

The panels are easy to maintain using a soft lint free cloth and soapy water. Do not use any bathroom/kitchen cleaners or abrasive materials.

Could I use these panels on the floors as well as the Wall and Ceilings?

No, however we do supply a wide range of LVT Flooring suitable for all rooms within the Household.
